Ashton took a walk right away today with a peer and staff. Upon returning and a minute to transition, he was directed to his work space. He accepted offer of help from staff. Once at his desk he looked at his math paper and then tore it up. He put his head down on his desk. Ashton walked outside without permission and kicked the other classroom door-hard. Staff was able to talk him away from the door and stayed outside with him until he was ready to come back inside. He was able to communicate that he wanted to go home because he was stressed that he had to to go right to work after school.
