Ashton started the day with a positive walk with his peers.
Today was a music class day and he tried to participate as he knows he can get credit. Ashton was frustrated after the first 10 minutes as staff quietly redirected his attention from a student across from him (Staff perceived it as Ashton discreetly putting his middle finger up at student as a joke). He left the room and went outside. Ashton stayed in the area and had an appropriate conversation with staff denying that he was putting up his middle finger. He was calm and after a break returned to his desk to work on his math. Ashton stayed in his work space most of the time but had some conversations with others throughout the morning. He fell asleep for 45 minutes. He did not complete his written project assignments so they were sent home to be completed and returned tomorrow.
