Layla had a good start to her morning as she transitioned back to school after summer break. She interacted positively with staff and peers.
Layla went on a field trip hike with a group today. At the beginning of the hike, Layla stayed with the group and was cooperative. When the group took a break, Layla left the group and went on a trail. Staff had to go looking for Layla and bring her back to the group. Staff talked to Layla that it was not acceptable behavior to leave the group without an adult staff member. The group returned to school early.
When Layla returned to school she completed her assigned hiking write-ups independently. Layla did not want to participate in the end of the day free time activities with other students but she was cooperative until dismissal time.
