Evan went on a hike with staff, his mom, and another student this morning. He was very cooperative and participated in the nature discussions.
After lunch Evan was required to write a short paragraph about his hike, using a graphic organizer that was to be completed. He was reluctant to get started and needed some time to vent before getting started. He did complete the assignment before the end of the day .
Evan expressed that he was a bit worried about being in school for a full day this year as he has not been in school full days for awhile. A staff member and he had a good talk about how his day would look this year and alternate activities to do once his work was completed.
