Ashton had a positive attitude at the start of his day. He walked with two other students and staff. He had polite and appropriate conversation with teachers and other students.
When it was time to begin working, Ashton said that he couldn't do it and refused offers of help. (two different adults offered to help). Ashton went outside without permission and lay on the ground. Ashton was given ten minutes to spend outside and then told to come in. Ashton's parent was called (Dianna called) to talk with him. (about 10:10). He would not come into work at his desk and stayed on the ground until 11:15 at which time he came in to work. He read a chapter lesson and then asked for help for written work. Ashton completed one assignment today. Work was sent home to be completed and returned tomorrow.
