Ashton went on a field trip to the Wehr Nature Center.
When Ashton arrived at school he had a positive attitude and interacted with staff and peers appropriately.
When he was at the Wehr Nature Center, the first 10 minutes of the program was an oral presentation of the material and expectations. When the group first started the outside portion of the program, Ashton lay on the ground, closed his eyes and would not engage. Once the hands-on portion of the program started Ashton was extremely engaged and enjoyed the activities. When it was time to leave, Ashton did not want to stop doing the activities but he did comply respectfully.
