| Comments | Michael had an up and down day. He was okay in the morning and was able to get most of his work assignments completed. He has some trouble with his oral self-control at times but was able to accept correction without conflict. However, in the afternoon, he went to art class but refused to participate. Once he came back to the classroom; he was told to get his pictures captions completed. He became angry when he was told to redo them because they were not done correctly. He then threw a box of tissues at the window. He was able to de-escalate and finish his captions. However, some of his captions were still inappropriate. After he paced for a short period, he mentioned that he had too many things on his mind, and he wanted to throw a chair. He once again was able to gain control of his emotions before they spiraled out of control. He did apologize to his teachers and then went on a walk to self-soothe. He left for home with a better attitude. |
